Unfortunately, elderly people in Moldova are in the very difficult situation. Average pension is about 900 Leis (45$). It is very difficult to survive with this amount, as besides food, there are many different expenses, such as medical and utilities.
With your help of 35$ per month, we can buy a food package, that will help them to relocate their income from pension to pay for medicine or utilities.
When you make a donation, we will send you the picture and the information about the elderly (man or woman) that you’ll be supporting and an update every 6 month about them.
If you decide to join the program, we ask you to commit for at least 1 year, but we encourage you to continue supporting the person for as long as you can.
